Its really unfortunate to know that my most favourite author was in such a pitiable state in her last days!! Infact I was reading her Sadananda novel a week back and was wondering how exciting Indira's life would have been. In the same novel she has used so many different dialects of Kannada- Chikmagalur, Havyak, Dharwad, Bangalore...She must have been a genious. After reading the novel, I always kept telling myself- "why was I not born a 100 years earlier. I could have been part of a wonderful culture"
