Democracy in India has proved to be a costly experiment.Old kings and princes have beeen replaced by the so-called "Peoples' representatives",who do not care for thje people whom they are supposed to serve(?)Rampant corruption is flowing through their blood.Raids by Income Tax officials,Lokayukta touch only the "tip of the iceberg".Rich are gettting richer,poor are getting poorer even after 60 years
of our republic!!
